This picture finishes "The Donna Series" as I call it. This is another one of her cousins, I think it turned out well.

My friend Donna asked if I would make a drawing of her cousins (the middle being the boy from the previous picture I drew). I thought it would be interesting to see the progression of each portrait...

I drew this picture yesterday for a friend from work. It's a tender subject as the boy in the picture passed away last month. I hope I did him and his family justice with this piece, may you rest in peace.

Someone (can't remember now) turned me on to Chris Bodily (check out his work at hatrobot.com). I think he is amazing! His sketched portraits inspire me. I've always had a different take on drawing people and objects (faster, sharper, messier) and though I am in no way putting myself on his same level I think our styles are very similar. I definitely aspire to draw like him.

Today I tried to mirror a Bob Ross painting I stumbled upon. I love drawing with ink (my favorite medium at the moment). I know I could have spent more time on it to get it to look better but the point of a one-minute sketch is just to get the idea out there and practice, practice, practice.
